We are hosting our upcoming live webcast on "Common Reporting Standard - Are you ready for the automatic exchange of information of your international clients or globally mobile employees?" on Wednesday, 6 July 2016, 16:30 - 17:30 (CET). Our webcast will focus on the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) as a framework developed by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to provide a standard for the automatic exchange of financial account information, that will result in annual communication of taxpayer’s information between jurisdictions. As part of our webcast, our speakers will share their insights on the following topics:

An overview of CRS;
How it will impact individuals in terms of additional personal compliance, complexity and costs;
What it may mean to relationship and programme managers who deal with international clients or internationally mobile employees; and

David Wigersma - Partner, Global Employer Services

David has 17 years of experience in the area of international corporate and individual taxation planning. He specialises in addressing the complex compliance needs of a cross-border workforce with varied elements of compensation.

Alex Saluveer - Senior Manager, Global Employer Services

Alex has worked in the field of expatriate and personal taxation in the UK, USA, Brazil and Switzerland providing tax compliance and advisory support to globally mobile employees, across a varied industry base as well as to private clients. Throughout his career Alex has specialised in personal US tax and is currently responsible for the provision of US personal tax compliance and advisory services across Switzerland.

Brandi Caruso - Director, Financial Services

Brandi is a Director based in Zurich. She is responsible for FATCA in Switzerland and leads a cross-functional team, including projects for banks, trust companies, asset managers and insurers. She is a FATCA technical advisor to a number of large and mid-size Swiss banks, Swiss-based trust companies, asset managers and insurance companies. She is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant and has 15 years of experience with Deloitte in the U.S., the U.K. and in Switzerland.

Richard Geldart - Director, International Private Wealth and Entrepreneurs

Richard is working within the International Private Wealth and Entrepreneurs team of Deloitte in Switzerland. He has worked with international families, multi and single family offices, trustees and private banks for over 15 years specialising in cross border tax matters. He is a frequent speaker at industry events in Switzerland and in key financial centres. Prior to relocating to Switzerland he was based in London.
